Kanwal Ameen who is a Pakistani educationist has served the cause of women’s education in Pakistan. Being a founder and Vice Chancellor of the University of Education Lahore and a professor at the University of Punjab, she has contributed a lot in this field.
But Kanwal Ameen also has another identity which is of the mother of the superstars Ali Zafar and Danyal Zafar. Sometime back she featured on Wasi Shah’s show and in the course of that show she discussed her life, her career, and the experience of being a parent to children. Although she focused so much on her son Ali Zafar.
Kanwal Ameen feels pride in Ali Zafar’s achievements
In an interview, Kanwal Ameen showed love to Ali Zafar. She showed him a lot of support and was proud of what he had achieved. She said that he has made the family proud by his work in the entertainment sector.
Ali Zafar, who is famous for his singing, acting, and painting, has attracted people in Pakistan and from all around the world. His success has not only earned him fame but also pride for his family members especially his mother who has always supported his dreams.
Kanwal Ameen Will Always Have One Regret About Ali Zafar
However, this pride brought out the bitter side of Kanwal Ameen when she talked about a regret she had against Ali Zafar in recent years. She said that he was a very serious child in school, one who always performed very well in his books. In the 10th standard, he secured the first position in his school. He was rewarded for his efforts and was able to get the first large-scale trophy in his life.
But Kanwal Ameen sadly said that she was not present in the award show because she had to be somewhere else. This is one event she wishes she could have been one of the participants in that.
She added that this is something she has always regretted. She feels strongly that it was a significant day in her son’s life.
The Bond Between Ali Zafar and His Brothers
Kanwal Ameen also appreciates that now both Ali Zafar and his brothers are very close, which always makes her happy. She discussed how the three brothers Ali, Danyal, and the other siblings have featured in each other’s professional and personal lives.
After she placed the end of her speech, she stressed the need to learn how to value such relationships both in business and in life emphasizing that no matter how much success one may attain, at the core of it all is love and respect for each other.
Regarding the relationship among them, Kanwal noted that there is no competition, which she believes makes her very happy. As a mother, she values the mutual respect and love that they have for each other most of the time.
